oh brothers! ofcourse what happened in Afshar was very unfortunate, it should have never happened. writing about Afshar does not mean that we overlook other cimes that were commited and are commited in our war-torn country. i last five members of my own family in kabul war, who so ever did it the reality is that they are gone now and i am very much pleased to see the people who killed them be trailed some day, like most of our country men and women who wish this.i was a child of eight or nine at that time and i never saw and knew were my mother, siter, brother and grnd ma were burried my father went to bring them and told me after a few week that he had burried their corps. we were out of Afshar the day before the attack, me my mother and my father , trying to find a way out side Kabul, at the evining my father left me in his firend’s home and went with my mother to bring the rest of the family, he had been stpped by some gunmen in the way and my mother allowed to go she had got to Afshar asnyway but never returned i even do not know her tomb. i think it is unjust to blame everybody, as for as i can remember now the attack on Afshar was organised and prpondered very well and the massacrs were organised and well calculated this is what that distanguishes Afshar from other killings. the rest of the crimes were commitedd in the hand of gangsters from all sides. as my father was telling me latter , for example Mazari had no control over the people like Shafa Dewana they were doing so many things with out mazary’s command and most of the time ignoring him and on the other hand mazari had no other people that loyal and crazy to fight like them.most of the other people fighting against sayaf and massood were common people who were doing it because no other choice were there. my brother, a 17, was a soldier, my father found him and forced him to come home. my father was affraind of what the other gunmen doing in Kabul and told my brother that he also may kill innocent people or loot people’s property. he was reasoning that we have no job from religious point of view to fight we can just deffend our home agains theifs and anyone who attack. my brother put his hand on koran that he had not done any wrong and he will not do any wrong but insisted that he had a job to fight aganist any offense on innocents, especially when he named a person that he will be under his commend my father let him go, since my father knew the cammendor and said that he was a pious person. my brother never returned i do not knew that he did anything wrong or not, but what reaally makes me sad is that he was really intelligent and a good artist i would have been very lucky if he was alive like many of you. he never knew what was happening but the craze made him move and proof himself..
